Message from our NSA-NT President: June 2022

As we come to the close of this year I want to thank our board of directors and our incredible chapter for the opportunity to serve you! It’s so good to see the profession of speaking coming back to in person events. I know that we will continue to grow our businesses and we should all get ready for another great year.

A special thanks to your incoming president Elizabeth McCormick for all her support, the move to a new system for our chapter, her strength of vision and strategy and giving me such incredible support in my role.

Thank you to Niki McCuistion for her CPAE highlights this year. What a fabulous line up of Hall of Fame speakers that gave such incredible insight for all of us to learn.

Yoram Solomon for jumping in and taking the reins on our Labs. Another great value to our North Texas Chapter.

Thank you, Bill King, for taking the Treasurer role at mid-year and fine tuning our finances and approach to our book keeping and reporting. Thanks Diana Gats on documenting our best practices.

To Arlene for her thorough work as secretary during a challenging year health wise. Thanks, Tim Marvel, for your friendship and support as our past president who is always there when you need him. And to Linda Swindling my consiglieri with her insight and wisdom.

Thanks to Michelle on programs, the rest of the board, Tim and Scott and Karen and Rafael on Zoom and the great technology process we have developed and a special thanks to Bert as always for his support each Saturday we meet.

We have a very special chapter and I know we are set up for great continuity and succession with Darren Ford as our new president elect and Courtney Ramsey as our Vice President.

During your time off this summer, pick a couple of priorities to take your business to the next level. Most of all, get with a fellow North Texas member and brainstorm your business. What’s your next step. We’re a very special family and we’re in this together to help each other stretch and grow. Hope you can make it to Influence in Nashville on July 9^th. Be well!
